Back Andrew's Affordable Housing Campaign

Andrew has a golden opportunity to change the law this autumn - to prioritise homes for local people before second homes. 

Through his Private Member's Bill, Andrew proposes to increase the supply of decent, secure, and genuinely affordable homes by giving local councils planning powers to put first homes before second homes. 

Andrew said: “Lack of genuinely affordable homes is the most serious challenge facing families in west Cornwall and Scilly. If Minister’s back this law, it’ll improve the supply of decent and secure homes for locals and ensure more homes are protected to meet community need.”
